CSQ FUNDING

Construction Skills Queensland Funded Courses

If you are currently working in the Queensland building and construction industry and wish to develop your skills, you may be eligible for CSQ funding. Your Course may be subsidised by Construction Skills QLD, which means CSQ may pay a significant portion of your Student Fees.

To be Eligible for CSQ Funding, you will need to meet the below Eligibility Criteria, and must provide Evidence of eligibility at time of Enrolment.

With CSQ Funding you may also apply for Recognition of Prior Learning ( RPL ) for up to 50% of the Units of Competency required, which could reduce the duration of your Course.

PLEASE NOTE: Australian School of Finishing Trades may or may not have access to funding for any program at any point in time. Please contact ASFT for information and availability of funded Programs

ASFT currently has CSQ Funding available for the following Courses:

DIPLOMA OF BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION

CERTIFICATE IV BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION

CERTIFICATE IV WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY

QLD BUILDER – LOWRISE SITE SUPERVISOR COURSE

CSQ Funding is provided by the QLD Construction Industry, which means that it is Industry Funding, to support training and upskilling QLD Construction Workers.

The Portable Long Service Leave Scheme is funded by a levy imposed on the total cost, whether direct or indirect, of building and construction work in Queensland costing $150,000 or more (excluding GST). The levy is paid in conjunction with the Building and Construction Work Health and Safety (Queensland) levy and the Construction Skills Queensland levy.
